RT-130 Annual Fire line Safety Refresher

April 21st at Klamath Community College, Building 6, Room H109

Class will begin at 0900 and end by 1700.

RT-130 Topics will include entrapment avoidance, Highly Reliable Organization traits and characteristics, current issues, fire line leadership and how to develop comrades and influence on the fire line, traits of emergency responders, fire behavior forecasts and fire behavior issues for 2018, current issues, how to mitigate risk, safe and effective practices, local issues, deploying practice fire shelters and topics students may wish to discuss. The instructor will be encouraging students to participate and engage in exercises and discussions.

The cost is:

RT-130 $75.00

Students having the need to have this class listed in the National Wildfire Suppression Association (NWSA) data base will pay an additional $12.00 for NWSA members and $30 for non NWSA members.

We will take 30 minutes for lunch, you should plan on bringing something to eat.
