NWSA honored Arnie Masoner, NWSA First Executive Director, and Doug Coyle, one of the Founders of the Wildland Firefighter Foundation by holding a benefit auction with all proceeds going to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.

On hand were members of Arnie & Doug's families in addition to Vicki Minor, the Executive Director for the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Arnie's family donated some of Arnie's Smokey the Bear Collection to the auction, including some Smokey Baseballs which were a big hit after Ron Hooper volunteered to get the Department Head in Washington D.C. to sign the balls. Thanks Ron!
